Emma Hutton’s graduate collection breaks the silence on menstrual taboos with seriously bold and creative fabrication. PERIOD plays unflinchingly with print and text, bleeding into a statement and protest collection. Luxurious quilting and large scale forms meet signature statements including a watercolour stain print and scanned copies of period product receipts. Flushed with red, the collection also features reflective trims used for high visibility… these are pieces that command attention.
